The Therapy Process

Therapy begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation, where we can connect to discuss what you're looking for in therapy, answer any questions you might have, and get a sense of whether we feel like we could do this work together.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll book your first session, which lasts 50 minutes. The first one to two sessions are focused on getting to know you—your story, your strengths, your hopes for therapy, and any challenges you’ve been navigating. We’ll explore how your past and lived experiences may be shaping how you feel about yourself and others, and how they might be influencing your current challenges. From there, our work will unfold at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a collaborative process and I am committed to creating a safe and non-judgemental space.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices. Sessions are offered both in-person at 134 London St S and/or video via Jane App. My fee for individual therapy is $155 per 50-minute session. Many extended health benefit plans offer coverage for services provided by a Masters level Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW).
