Meet the Team

Mikayla Rukavina, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist
My clinical work is grounded in a deep passion for relational and attachment-focused therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful catalyst for change.

I value creating a therapy space that is safe, supportive, compassionate, and free of judgment.

I offer both in-person therapy in Hamilton, ON and virtual (video) sessions across Ontario.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in gardening, caring for house plants, painting, and spending time with my dog, Sarah.

Sarah
Team Lead
Sarah is a rescue pup (also known as a "potcake") who joined the family in the fall of 2021 after making her journey from sunny Antigua to snowy Canada.
Despite her Caribbean roots, Sarah has fully embraced Canadian winters—snow zoomies are her specialty!
She has a big heart and an even bigger love for sticks, cucumbers, carrots, walks, and snoot kisses. Sarah takes her emotional life seriously and proudly wears her anxious attachment style with no shame—she’s a firm believer in feeling all the feels.

Her dislikes include squirrels, birds, shadows, doorbells, and especially green beans (hard pass). But don’t let that fool you—she’s as loyal and loving as they come. Sarah reminds us every day that healing happens in connection—and that it’s okay to be a little sensitive.
